Q. How do I get more toner or paper for printers? What do I do if a printer is jammed or otherwise not working?

Q. How do I manage my print jobs from UNIX?
A: Click the Terminal icon (the one with the "X") on the Front Panel at the bottom of the screen. Type in a command similar to the ones below and press Return.
Check the print queue for rubbish6
lpq -P rubbish6
Remove all of your print jobs from the queue for arboreal
lprm -P arboreal -U myusername
Send a PostScript file to autumn
lpr -P autumn file.ps
Q. How do I manage my print jobs from Windows?
A: Select Start | Printers and Faxes. Double-click a printer icon to show the print queue. From the queue window, you can manage jobs by highlighting them and using the options in the Document menu.
Q. How do I print from programs that ask me to enter a command (such as Adobe Reader)?
In the print dialog, enter
lpr -P rubbish6as the command, substituting the correct printer name. You can also use just
lprto print to the default printer for your workstation.
